Alan Etherington – Has worked on programmes of low cost water and sanitation for the past 27 years for WaterAid, for Cowater International and as an independent consultant.  He has served as a volunteer advisor to the Board of Harbinger Foundation since 2007. He is the co-author of the Harbinger Report, “The Global Water and Sanitation Crisis – A Canadian Response”, 2011.

Greg Keast – (B.Sc., M.I.St.) has been working in the area of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in developing countries for 25 years. He has lived and travelled extensively in Africa and Asia, working for CUSO, UNICEF, national governments and as a consultant for a range of clients including UN agencies, bilateral agencies and NGOs. His work centres on the promotion of WASH services in poor communities, and encompasses programme design, evaluation, policy development and advisory services. Greg Keast is a “WASH generalist” with special areas of focus including WASH in schools, sanitation and hygiene promotion, sector monitoring, and water quality. He has served as an advisor to the Harbinger Global Water Program since 2009. He is the author of the Harbinger Report, “Canada ODA for Water and Sanitation”, 2011.
